Two Thousand Years

Two thousand years ago, the Prophecy of Fire and Light foretold the coming of the Queen Empress who would lead the Empire into a time of peace and tranquility. But instead of the coming of a prosperous world, a forbidden love for the Empress waged a war that ravaged the land, creating a chasm between the factions, raising the death toll of innocent lives until the final, blo...

Note: These were(are) my opinions about the wattpad version (now taken down).

    My Full Wattpad review:

Can İ just fangirl a bit before starting this review?

This book is everything my life amd beyond.

It's not one of those books that you exactly have to relate to to love. It just grabs you by the collar and makes you adore its every single page.

This may be a pet peeve of mine, but I don't like purple prose unless it's used to describe something that seems bea

Going into this book, I hadn't expected to enjoy it as much as I did. I've had a lot of hit and misses when it comes to books this year and have been leaning towards contemporaries when it comes to reading for myself.

I loved how fierce Alex was throughout the book and I found myself cheering her on. She was a very likable main character and so was Treyan. I didn't care for Reylon's character but there were parts that made me not completely hate him so there's that?

A side character pulled a majo

**You can see this full review and more at Book Briefs:**Two Thousand Years is the first book in the Empire Saga by author M. Dalto. The Empire Saga is a new adult fantasy romance, my very favorite kind! I really enjoyed two Thousand years and I can already tell that The Empire Saga is going to be a series that I will love! I am already itching to get my hands on the next book! I don't see too many new adult fantasy's but it is one of my very favorite genres, especially wh ...more

When I first read this blurb, I was like finally an NA book that sounds awesome with a good plot. And let me tell you, the book did live up to the blurb! Plus, yes, plenty of swoon. I mean, swoooooooooooooooooooon!

Dear, Alex—you were pretty badass and also had to put up with some crazy crap! Dear, Treyan—you have my heart! Dear, Reylor—you are a crazy, crazy thing, but I still like you! Does that make me a bad person? The characters were on point! Plus, I got several things that I wasn't suspec

If you're looking for a great segway from Young Adult to New Adult, this book is it! There are a ton of YA Fantasy vibes while also keying in on the mature phases in life.

We meet this girl who is being thrown into a creepy situation that gave me 'Lord Voldemort and his Death Eater' vibes when she comes to her apartment only to find a crazy, cloaked guy speaking to a mysterious figure in an orb. I don't know what it was about this scene that completely made me think of Harry Potter.

    But don't go i

Thank you NetGalley for the ARC!

I liked the setting and premise of this book — I like the idea of a seemingly regular girl actually belonging to another world, and the whole idea of fulfilling a prophecy. It's a well-established idea but it has so many possible endings that could go along with it. However, I felt that the relationship between Alex and Treyan developed too quickly; it felt like a case of insta-love, which I disliked. It made me feel disconnected from them as characters. Treyan ju

I have to start off my review by saying “Bravo, Bravo M. Dalto” this is a wonderful start to what could be an amazing series!!! I CANNOT WAIT FOR THE NEXT BOOK!!!

I am still swooning over Treyan and Alexstrayna!!! The way the prophecy brought them together. They instinctively felt right with each other, and their attraction to each other felt natural and right. The prophecy was right, they belonged together. I loved that. Although Alex was very headstrong, but i guess she would have to be. Afte

[I am reviewing this book through Wattpad before it was taken down.]

I found it a fascinating Fantasy novel to read, as it lures readers to want more as the plot thickens. A tale of an ordinary girl taken away to a place known as the Empire by a handsome crown prince would be almost every girl's dream. But with chaos hidden in between, the story is not what it seems to be.

The minor cussing is the only pinpoint that I do not like for to me it is not something I find very often if Fantasy stories.
